1. Membership Term
This agreement is for a 12-month membership beginning on the date below. Membership is billed monthly, with tuition payments due on the 1st of each month. Membership automatically renews month-to-month at the end of the initial 12-month term unless otherwise canceled in writing.
2. Tuition
The monthly membership fee is:

Billing will be processed automatically via the payment method on file. It is the Member’s responsibility to ensure payment information is current.
3. Early Cancellation
If the Member cancels this agreement before the completion of the 12-month term, a one-month tuition early termination fee will be charged. This fee helps offset the cost of discounts and benefits provided for committing to the full term.
4. Pausing Membership
Memberships may be paused for medical reasons or extended travel, with prior written notice and approval. Requests must be submitted at least 7 days before the next billing cycle.
5. Attendance & Participation
It is the Member’s responsibility to attend classes. Missed classes do not result in pro-rated fees or credits. Participation in training is voluntary and at the Member’s own risk. All members must follow academy rules and codes of conduct.
6. Termination by Academy
The Academy reserves the right to terminate this agreement and/or suspend membership at its discretion for violations of policy, misconduct, or behavior deemed unsafe or disruptive. In such cases, tuition paid for the current month will not be refunded.
7. Agreement to Terms
By signing below, the Member acknowledges and agrees to all terms in this agreement. Member certifies that they are at least 18 years old or are the parent/legal guardian of a minor participant.
8. Hygiene and Safety
All members are expected to maintain proper personal hygiene as a matter of safety and respect for training partners. This includes:

Keeping fingernails and toenails trimmed to prevent injury

Wearing a clean uniform (gi or no-gi gear) to every class

Practicing good personal cleanliness (including use of deodorant)

Covering any cuts, abrasions, or skin conditions and staying off the mat when contagious (e.g., ringworm, staph, flu, etc.)
Failure to adhere to these hygiene expectations may result in being asked to leave class or suspension of membership until the issue is resolved.
